When I hear the word school, my Biology major kicks in and I immediately think fish. Course, now I think Kindergarten, but fish still comes in a close second. So, I sent my little fishy to school with her own fishy lunch. And, in case you're wondering.. because I know you are.. what comes in third for me is that blasted song from a Baby Einstein back in the day.. "
Say hey, little fishy... do you wanna take a swim with me..swim around the reef all day, obeying all the rules cuz even though we're having fun, you know we're still in school..." Yup.

Turkey pastrami and Swiss sandwich, cucumber, grapes, yogurt raisins, and Goldfish crackers.
I seriously love this little box. It's not the easiest for little hands because you have to get the lid seated on the base just right for it to clip and seal all the way around, but come on now, how cute is that fish swimming just above the waves?

I think this trick for writing on bananas has been around since I was a kid, at least. It's an oldie, but a goodie! If you don't know about it, just use a toothpick (or a fork tine since I'm too lazy resourceful to get out a toothpick when I have a perfectly good fork sitting right next to me) to score your design on the skin of the banana. Be sure not to pierce through. Within minutes, your message appears. Genius!
